On this page you will find all of the information you will need for the BYOD program at Killara High School.
School Laptops are loaned on a short and long-term basis.

- Short term loans are for circumstances such as repair or waiting for a replacement. The maximum short-term loan is four weeks, but this can be extended in extenuating circumstance by making a subsequent request.
- Long term loans are for circumstances such as financial hardship or other ongoing difficulties. Long term loans are made for a semester. After that point, the device is returned for updates and servicing and can be reloaned with a subsequent request.
Equity Laptop procedures
Be aware we will require a $200 deposit before any equity laptops are loaned to students. This process will take a couple of days. we do not have a facility to offer day loans.

- Complete the Killara High School loan device application request form and read the laptop charter
- You will receive an email from the school requesting a $200 deposit
- Once your deposit is paid you will receive an email with details for student to collect laptop
- Students go to the Technical Manager in E block within the library to collect their loan laptop.
